Dig Dug: Digging Strike is Coming to US!!!

Namco Hometek has revealed that it will be publishing Dig Dug Digging Strike for the Nintendo DS in North America this fall.

This remake of the classic 80s arcade game will feature dual screen gameplay across 15 stages of more than 80 different areas of action. Players explore 3D surface environments on the upper screen, and then dig down to the lower screen to take out the usual Dig Dug baddies such as Pooka and Fygar. Dig Dug: Digging Strike also features a series of mini-challenges based on existing Namco properties, challenges which should be familiar to old-school gamers. IGN
