Katamari Damacy is Coming to the DS!!!

Yes! That's right! In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, the publication lists Katamari Damacy among the "announced" titles for the Nintendo DS handheld, a game based on the immensely quirky and popular 2004 PlayStation 2 release.


IGN contacted Namco regarding the possibility of Katamari Damacy for the DS. According to company representatives, "At this point we haven't made any official announcements on future developments for this franchise." IGN

Online DS info ill be Revealed Tomorrow!!!

Nintendo's President Satoru Iwata will be heading a keynote address at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco tomorrow, March 10th, at 10:30. Rumors have rumbled for weeks that this is where Iwata will be unveiling an online service for the Nintendo DS, and it's even stronger the first official day of the conference.


Though details are scattered, we've heard that the keynote won't just offer mention of such a service, but will actually have interactive demonstration of the Nintendo DS' online functions with specific games that utilize the functions. These games will be revealed during Iwata's keynote speech.

Touch! Kirby's Magic Paintbrush!!!

Kirby's story on DS begins when he encounters a sorceress who changes the world into a painting. She then transforms Kriby into a ball and he sets off on an adventure to return both himself and the world to normal. You make use of a Magic Paintbrush, which the sorceress left behind, to help Kirby on his adventure. The Magic Paintbrush (or, in the real world, the NDS touch pen), is used to draw rainbow-colored lines on-the screen, guiding Kirby through levels of play. While levels feature pre-made platforms and areas of the ground upon which Kirby can walk, you'll have to draw your own platforms to get Kirby past obstacles like chasms and spikes. You're free to draw lines however you choose, with screenshots showing loops, platforms, slopes. Scribbles eventually disappear, so you'll need to keep on your toes.

Three Nintendo Dogs Box art!!!

Yes! That's right! There are three different box art for this game. The reason is that there are three different version of the game. Each version will include five specific breeds of dogs to play with, train, and care for using the touch screen on the DS. All three versions of Ninten Dogs will be available April 21st for 4800 yen each.

New Colors for the Nintendo DS!!!

Nintendo of Japan announced plans to release new color variations for the Nintendo DS. Turquoise, Graphite, Candy(Pink), and Pure(white) are all in the works and are set for release in Japan in the next couple of months. The new systems will have the same price, and all the same accessories that came with the original.
